| ASSOS Prosline Gaitor Jacket Our warmest cold weather jacket. Often used for multi-sports or everyday wear. Constructed with ASSOS AirBlock Roubaix, a unique, two layer fabric that will keep you comfortable well below freezing. The soft, moisture absorbing, micro-fiber fleece inner layer keeps you dry and warm with minimal bulk. The outermost AirBlock layer is completely wind proof, water resistant and sheds snow well. The entire jacket, both black and colored panels, are covered with AirBlock fabric. Extra features include: adjustable, interior side panel ties provide a customized fit, full length, wind proof, fabric backed zipper for excellent temperature control, high cut padded collar to block drafts, two closeable rear pockets with a 14 inch (36 cm) horizontal silver reflective stripe, a wide, gently elasticized waist and a generous, loose fitting cut for extra movement and comfort. | Wear and care...
We strongly recommend washing all cycle clothing by hand, in luke warm water and
with Cafe Suds. Gently rinse with luke warm tap water. To dry, lay the garment on a large towel. Next carefully roll the towel and garment into a cylinder. Squeeze or pat, but do not wring. Let sit for 10 minutes, then unroll. Hang the garment inside on a clothing rack away from any direct heat source. Allow to dry naturally. |

This is an archival edition of the Branford Bike web site from February 2006. Complete with product photos, prices, how to articles and technical specifications it is a treasure trove of accurate, detailed and historical information. In July of 2006 Branford Bike was incinerated by a huge forest fire. No one was hurt but the inventory and buildings were completely destroyed. I witnessed the fire and stayed until the trees were burning in my driveway. At that point I hiked from Branford Bike, through the smoke and embers, down the mountain to my Jeep 3 miles away. I took photos and wrote about the harrowing experience so everyone could see what I saw. My insurance was generous and I later rebuilt my home and started another business selling books. Read the story here. Branford Bike was a huge part of my life for over 30 years; June 1976 to July 2006. I enjoyed those years tremendously and Branford Bike was often a labor of love.
