| ASSOS Prosline Undershirts The perfect companion for sweltering heat or numbing cold. Widely used by professional cyclists. Constructed from Hydro II Plus fabric which has exceptional wicking properties and hydrphobic fibers that are thinner than silk. The summer models are amazingly light, thin, breathable and long wearing. Perfectly cut for a snug, yet non-constricting anatomical fit. Greatly increases the wicking properties and comfort of any jersey. These undershirts can also be worn alone in especially hot and humid weather. We found that the sleeveless model is more comfortable than the short sleeve version when worn under a cycling jersey during the summer. The short sleeve version is better for cooler, spring/fall rides. Many riders in southern climates wear the short sleeve version alone on hot and humid summer days. They tell us that nothing is cooler or more comfortable. The long sleeve cool weather model pictured below to the left, uses a thicker version of Hydro II Plus material, has a wind blocked zipper and high cut collar for extra warmth. It will add 20 degrees fahrenheight of warmth to any winter garment. | Wear and care...
We strongly recommend washing all cycle clothing by hand, in luke warm water and
with Cafe Suds. Gently rinse with luke warm tap water. To dry, lay the garment on a large towel. Next carefully roll the towel and garment into a cylinder. Squeeze or pat, but do not wring. Let sit for 10 minutes, then unroll. Hang the garment inside on a clothing rack away from any direct heat source. Allow to dry naturally. |

This is an archival edition of the Branford Bike web site from February 2006. Complete with product photos, prices, how to articles and technical specifications it is a treasure trove of accurate, detailed and historical information. In July of 2006 Branford Bike was incinerated by a huge forest fire. No one was hurt but the inventory and buildings were completely destroyed. I witnessed the fire and stayed until the trees were burning in my driveway. At that point I hiked from Branford Bike, through the smoke and embers, down the mountain to my Jeep 3 miles away. I took photos and wrote about the harrowing experience so everyone could see what I saw. My insurance was generous and I later rebuilt my home and started another business selling books. Read the story here. Branford Bike was a huge part of my life for over 30 years; June 1976 to July 2006. I enjoyed those years tremendously and Branford Bike was often a labor of love.
