• Continental's innovative Silica rubber compound helps make the Grand Prix 3000 their lightest, fastest and strongest road clincher designed for racing and general riding. Provides 30% better dry weather traction and 15% lower rolling resistance than Continental's standard Grand Prix foldable clincher tire. The Grand Prix 3000 utilizes a five-ply polyamide (Nylon) casing woven of super-fine threads that reduce weight while providing a supple and fast ride. A thick and tough, natural rubber sidewall coating, protects against scuffs and cuts. The Grand Prix 3000 uses a Kevlar® bead and is made for 700C road wheels.

• ALL of the above sizes are available with a grey treadstrip with brown sidewalls as pictured above. The 700 x 23 size only, Grand Prix 3000 is also available in all of the colors pictured above and below.
• The five ply Nylon casing has 86 threads per inch for each layer. The total for all five layers is 430 threads per inch.
• For fastest times, longer life and fewer punctures you may mix tire widths. Many riders use a narrow front tire and the next wider size for a rear tire. We do not suggest mixing tread patterns.

• This tire is foldable. It uses stranded Kevlar®, instead of steel wire beads, to hold the tire to your rim. Kevlar beads weigh less than steel and are stronger.
