• Salsa clincher tubes are made by Kenda Tire, come in two models and a wide variety of sizes and widths.
• Salsa's Ultralight (Kenda Lite) tube weighs just 71 grams in a 700 x 23 size. Ultralight tubes have 0.6 mm walls and are designed for maximum performance in race or fast riding conditions.
• Salsa's Superlight (Kenda Pro) tube weighs just 80 grams in a 700 x 23 size. Superlight tubes have thicker, 0.73 mm walls and are designed for the rigors of everyday riding.
• Salsa Ultralight presta valve stems are gold plated to resist corrosion and add a touch of class to any set of wheels. Salsa Superlight stems are brass and pictured above.
• Salsa presta valve stems come in 34, 48 and 60 mm lengths. 34 and 48 mm stems fit standard rims. The 34 and 48 mm stems are threaded. The 48 mm size fits most aero rims. The 60 mm model fits deep dish aero rims like Spinergy, Zipp 404s and Hed and is also a smooth, non-threaded stem. All of the Salsa presta valves use non-removable cores.
• All Salsa/Kenda tubes are constructed from a premium butyl rubber that is puncture resistant, provides a smooth and fast ride and accepts high pressures with ease.
• Salsa Ultralight tubes are designed for competition riding and have thinner walls than Conti or Michelin butyl tubes. Do NOT install a Salsa tube in a tire that is wider than what the tube was designed for. Make sure the inside of your rim is smooth and contains an adhesive rim tape or Michelin rim band.
