Prosline Summer Gloves by ASSOS
Our finest summer cycling glove. Anatomically cut for a perfect fit and outstanding comfort. Lightly padded Gertex palms absorb vibration and perspiration. The triangular patch has a little extra padding and a rougher surface to better grip your bar tape.
Check out the black loops on the second and fourth fingers. Those are finger pulls and make taking off sweaty gloves much easier.
Note the black terry cloth quarter panel on the lower half of the back of these gloves in the photo on the right. The soft and absorbant, terry panel extends to the thumb on the palm. It is perfect for wiping sweaty brows. No velcro closure is needed; this design fits snugly and provides excellent dexterity. ASSOS even added a padded wrist tab for greater comfort. Double and triple stiching at all stress points. Bright colors with black palms and trim will match any cycling outfit. Available with black palms and yellow, blue, black or red backs.

Cool, thin and long wearing. Provides exceptional comfort and durability. Knitted from a premium blend of Coolmax, Nylon and Lycra. Soft and absorbant; rapidly wicks away perspiration to keep your feet cool and dry. Gently elasticized upper cuff keeps these fine socks comfortably in place. Low cut, cuff extends slightly over the anklebone. Colored section extends into most shoes and easily compliments your cycling jersey or shorts. Five colors; solid white or white with black, red, yellow or blue uppers. Wash with Cafe Suds , drip dry.

Wear and care...

We strongly recommend washing all cycle clothing by hand, in luke warm water and with Cafe Suds. Gently rinse with luke warm tap water. To dry, lay the garment on a large towel. Next carefully roll the towel and garment into a cylinder. Squeeze or pat, but do not wring. Let sit for 10 minutes, then unroll. Hang the garment inside on a clothing rack away from any direct heat source. Allow to dry naturally.

This is an archival edition of the Branford Bike web site from February 2006. Complete with product photos, prices, how to articles and technical specifications it is a treasure trove of accurate, detailed and historical information.

In July of 2006 Branford Bike was incinerated by a huge forest fire. No one was hurt but the inventory and buildings were completely destroyed. I witnessed the fire and stayed until the trees were burning in my driveway. At that point I hiked from Branford Bike, through the smoke and embers, down the mountain to my Jeep 3 miles away. I took photos and wrote about the harrowing experience so everyone could see what I saw. My insurance was generous and I later rebuilt my home and started another business selling books. Branford Bike was a huge part of my life for over 30 years; June 1976 to July 2006. I enjoyed those years tremendously and Branford Bike was often a labor of love.
