  • Campagnolo Pro Fit Plus pedals are easy to click into and comfortable to ride with.
  • The release and engaging tension is adjustable via a side mounted allen screw. A small, rear window allows you to calibrate release and engaging tension precisely. You may also replace the chromed steel platform plate with an HRE model to further increase release and engaging tension.
  • The wide and smooth pedal platform evenly distributes pedaling forces to provide your feet with all day cycling comfort.
  • The low profile, just 10.5 mm from the pedal axle to the platform, allows the pedals to travel in an almost perfect circle which improves spin and comfort.
  • Long wearing, grey cleats with 4 degrees of rotation are included with every set of Pro Fit Plus pedals. They follow the standard LOOK bolt hole pattern so almost any shoe can be used with Pro Fit Plus pedals. Black, fixed position cleats are available separately.

  • The left pedal spindle axle is drilled to accept Campagnolo Ergo Brain cadence magnets which may be used with any computer that requires a cadence magnet.
  • Campagnolo Record Ti Pro Fit Pedals tip the scales at a mere 266 grams per pair. They feature a sleek polished silver finish with feather light titanium axles.
  • Chorus Pro Fit pedals share the same beautiful finish as Record but come with chromoly steel axles. They weigh just 325 grams per pair.
  • Centaur Pro Fit pedals are identical to Chorus except for the finish of the pedal spindles and body. Like Chorus, they weigh in at just 325 grams per pair.
  • Record, Chorus and Centaur Pro Fit Plus pedals use the same high quality release springs, cartridge bearings, chromed steel platforms, cleats and engaging hooks.
  • Pro Fit pedal spindles use a standard 9/16 by 20 threads per inch, threading and fit all models and years of Campagnolo road and track cranks. They will also fit most other brands of cranks.
  • We suggest using Le Tour Whisper White grease to lightly coat the Pro Fit pedal spindle before threading it into your crank arm.
  • We also suggest using a Park Torque Wrench, for the most accurate installation. Campagnolo recommends the following torque specification:
    Campagnolo Pro-Fit series pedal - tighten to 40.0 Newton Meters (N.m) or 29.5 foot pounds.

This is an archival edition of the Branford Bike web site from February 2006. Complete with product photos, prices, how to articles and technical specifications it is a treasure trove of accurate, detailed and historical information.

In July of 2006 Branford Bike was incinerated by a huge forest fire. No one was hurt but the inventory and buildings were completely destroyed. I witnessed the fire and stayed until the trees were burning in my driveway. At that point I hiked from Branford Bike, through the smoke and embers, down the mountain to my Jeep 3 miles away. I took photos and wrote about the harrowing experience so everyone could see what I saw. My insurance was generous and I later rebuilt my home and started another business selling books. Branford Bike was a huge part of my life for over 30 years; June 1976 to July 2006. I enjoyed those years tremendously and Branford Bike was often a labor of love.
