A NEW black aluminum alloy center tube for exceptional strength and durability
A NEW quick release clamping mechanism so you may rapidly adjust the height of this fine stand.

Jaw clamping pressure is fully adjustable. The 100-5C clamp with Elvax® covered cast aluminum jaws can be adjusted to fit any frame tube up to 1-5/8 inches (41mm).
Your bicycle can be rotated 360 degrees and securely locked at any angle using the exclusive Park Tool tapered rotational locking system.
The height of the clamp is easily and quickly adjustable from 40 inches (102 cm) to 60 inches (153 cm) so you can work at the height that is most comfortable and efficient for you.
The entire repair stand weighs less than 17 lbs (37.5 kg). It quickly and easily folds down to 40 x 7 x 7 inches ( 101 x 18 x 18 cm) for easy carrying and storage. Comes with a durable nylon travel bag.
The legs on the PRS-5 fold out to form a base that is super strong and stable.

The newest addition to the line of Park Tool repair stands is designed and built to deliver years of service for the home mechanic.
A center post mounted, quick relese lever, allow clamp height adjustments from 55 to 72 inches. Provides a comfortable working height for any mechanic.
Clamp allows a bike to be rotated 360 degrees and locked in any position. Will accomodate tubes from 7/8" (22mm) to 1-5/8" (41mm) diameter. Uses the Park 100-5C cast aluminum, adjustable linkage clamp. This is the same clamp used in the Park PRS-5 folding repair stand shown above.
New leg stabilizing system creates a rock-solid base. Constructed of heavy steel tubing and powder coated for a long lasting finish. Rubber feet are adjustable for uneven floors. Folds flat for easy storage.

This is an archival edition of the Branford Bike web site from February 2006. Complete with product photos, prices, how to articles and technical specifications it is a treasure trove of accurate, detailed and historical information.

In July of 2006 Branford Bike was incinerated by a huge forest fire. No one was hurt but the inventory and buildings were completely destroyed. I witnessed the fire and stayed until the trees were burning in my driveway. At that point I hiked from Branford Bike, through the smoke and embers, down the mountain to my Jeep 3 miles away. I took photos and wrote about the harrowing experience so everyone could see what I saw. My insurance was generous and I later rebuilt my home and started another business selling books. Branford Bike was a huge part of my life for over 30 years; June 1976 to July 2006. I enjoyed those years tremendously and Branford Bike was often a labor of love.
