Official Yale Team Wear by Louis Garneau and Voler
The official Jersey, Vest and Wind Jacket of the Yale University Cycling Team is now available in limited quantities. Yale team jerseys, jackets and vests are vividly colored and richly printed designs that will easily withstand the test of time. Custom designed, cool wicking, polyester fabric is rugged, breathable and exceptionally comfortable. Three large rear jersey pockets, trim cut and long zipper provide more comfort and convenience.
The windbreaker vest has a windproof front and shoulders; the back is vented mesh. Vests are available in sizes small and large only.
The long sleeve windbreaker jacket is an ideal shell garment. It is thin, lightweight, breathable and water resistant. Jackets are available in small and large only.

A perfect choice for any rider who demands maximum comfort at a reasonable price. Cut from heavyweight 8.2 ounce nylon/lycra for exceptional durability and a second skin fit. Smooth, anatomical cut and design provides excellent performance and comfort. Moderately padded, soft and very comfortable, one piece, ultra suede chamois. Soft rubber leg grippers prevent painful fabric bunching. The bib shorts have a cool, white ventilated mesh upper which provides extra comfort and styling. Wear and care...

We strongly recommend washing all cycle clothing by hand, in luke warm water and with Cafe Suds. Gently rinse with luke warm tap water. To dry, lay the garment on a large towel. Next carefully roll the towel and garment into a cylinder. Squeeze or pat, but do not wring. Let sit for 10 minutes, then unroll. Hang the garment inside on a clothing rack away from any direct heat source. Allow to dry naturally.
Drip dry your shorts, chamois side out and away from direct sunlight. Before each ride apply a thin layer of Chamois Cream for extra comfort and better hygiene. Extra care when washing and drying will reward you with superior comfort, durability and performance.

This is an archival edition of the Branford Bike web site from February 2006. Complete with product photos, prices, how to articles and technical specifications it is a treasure trove of accurate, detailed and historical information.

In July of 2006 Branford Bike was incinerated by a huge forest fire. No one was hurt but the inventory and buildings were completely destroyed. I witnessed the fire and stayed until the trees were burning in my driveway. At that point I hiked from Branford Bike, through the smoke and embers, down the mountain to my Jeep 3 miles away. I took photos and wrote about the harrowing experience so everyone could see what I saw. My insurance was generous and I later rebuilt my home and started another business selling books. Branford Bike was a huge part of my life for over 30 years; June 1976 to July 2006. I enjoyed those years tremendously and Branford Bike was often a labor of love.
