The upper portion of the LCD display can display a bar graph, that shows at a glance, how long you have been exercising. Each # represents 10 minutes. The photo above shows a 40 minute fitness session. The bottom two thirds of the LCD heart rate display can be set to beats per minute or heart rate as a percentage of your maximum heart rate. The above photo shows heart rate as 78% of the maximum heart rate. This person is getting a good workout.
