• Cadence is real, not calculated from gear ratio and forward speed as it is with the Shimano Flight Deck. Ergo Brain knows what size and position chain ring you are using, how fast your cranks are turning and what position cassette cog you are using. So, it can calculate how many teeth that cassette cog has. Ideal for wheel changes with different cassette combinations. No need to reprogram cassette sizes.
• Two cadence magnets are included. One zip ties to any crank arm. The other fits inside some 1999 and all year 2000 and later Campy pedal spindles. Compatible pedal spindles have a 8 mm cylindrical, rear opening. A standard, sticky backed and zip tied, crank arm magnet can also be used.
• Both cadence and front wheel pickup wires are easily disconnected from the handlebar bracket. Makes stem changes and bike carrier packing easier.

• Ergo Brain 10 has all of the same features as the Ergo Brain 9 computer. The current 10 speed head works fine with 9 and 10 speed double and triple chain ring bicycles. 9 speed bikes require a 9 speed wiring kit.
• Ergo Brain 10 has five extra functions which include an electro-luminescent screen for nighttime riding and four acoustic functions.
• The acoustic functions are:
  the computer beeps when you drop below a pre-programmed minimum speed or cadence.
  The computer will time you for a sprint session and beep at a pre-set time to tell you when to slow down.
  You can also program in a minimum cadence with the sprint timer. The computer will beep if you drop below that cadence and again when you should slow down.
• Acoustic functions are easier to use than constantly glancing at the computer screen. They will give you an edge under race conditions and are quite helpful for training.
• The electro luminescent screen glows for 5 seconds only after a button is pushed to conserve the battery.
